finley has become quite the conversationalist over the past couple of months and i find myself amazed by her comprehension and processing almost daily.
her timing for conversations always starts when she should be napping. the girl is not much on organized and structured sleeping.
today we shared a conversation that was so sweet...so encouraging...and so precious to me that i didn't mind the fact that she should have been sleeping; instead i wished that she could just find more words to say what her mind was thinking.
finley: you love me.
m: yes...i sure do.
finley: you love jack.
m: yes...i do...who else do i love?
finley: you love bubba.
m: yes...i love bubba.
finley: you love harper.
m: yes...i do love harper...who else do i love?
finley...umm...umm...umm....daddy. you love daddy!
m: you are right! i do love daddy! who else?
finley: you love jesus, mommy.
m: i do love jesus.
finley: i love jesus too mommy.
melt my heart.
i pray that my love is made evident to even the smallest of souls :)
